Region Antwerp West
The Scheldt is, both literally and figuratively, the common thread running through Antwerp West. On the Left Bank, the city remains close by, whilst towards Zwijndrecht, Beveren and the Waasland, the landscape opens out into greener residential areas and vast polders. It is this transition between the city and open space that gives the region its unique quality of life.
